A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2000, at Long Leaf/Masonboro Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Myrtle Grove Road, conducted by Edward Jackson.She was born Nov. 14, 1908, in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Luther T. Jordan and Nannie Herring Jordan. She lived most of her life in Wilmington. She was a member of the Masonboro Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
In March of 1941, she married William P. Beal, who preceded her in death in 1995.
She is survived by two daughters, Roberta Beal of Columbia, S.C., and SuAnn Beal Brown and husband, Frank of Mount Sidney, Va.; five grandchildren, Donald Dodson and wife, Mary Ann of Memphis, Tenn., Dawn Hinnatt and husband, Randy of Rock Hill, S.C., Daniel Dodson of Columbia, S.C., Bill Brown and wife, Lori of Wilmington, Krista Moss and husband, Todd of Staunton, Va.; six great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph S. Jordan and wife, Ethel of Wilmington; cousin, Annie Mae Jacobs of Wilmington; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2000, at Andrews Mortuary, Market Street Chapel and at the home of her grandson and wife, Bill and Lori Brown, 105 Southwold Drive, Wilmington.
