FOLLMAN RITES AT BRIDGEWATER SUNDAY P.M.
Massena - Funeral services for Augustus Follmann, who passed away April 24 at his Bridgewater home following two weeks illness from paralysis, were held Sunday afternoon in the Methodist church with the Rev. Harold Butts in charge of the rites. The casket beaters were G. L. Campbell, Clayton McDermott, Ray McCall, Robert Purdon, Arthur Guthrie, and Emil Glade. Burial was in Garner Cemetery.
Mr. Follmann was born June 23, 1875 on a homestead southwest of Bridgewater, the second son of Mr. and Mrs. Michale Follman; he spent his life in that vicinity. He married Nellie Kester, who with four children survives a son Irvin, and three daughters, Mrs. Hazel Raasch and Mrs. Marian Freise of Bridgewater, and Mrs. Vera Clark of Greenfield. One son died at birth. Also surviving are four brothers and three sisters, William Follmann and Mrs. Minnie Holaday of Massena, Mrs. Kitty Reis and Mrs. Caroline Gruss and Henry Follmann of Greenfield, John of Omaha, and Fred of Grand Juncion, Colorado. Attending form here were William and Mrs. Minnie Holaday and members of her family.
