son of Frederick H Bockstruck and Nellie Briggs and brother to Harry Earl Bockstruck (1911 – 1969) and Ralph DeWitt Bockstruck (1920 – 1994).

Charles Lloyd Bockstruck, 95, of Hillsboro, died at 3:15 a.m. Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, at Montgomery Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Taylor Springs.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 2, at Toberman-Dean Funeral Home in Coffeen with the Rev. John Walsh, pastor of Coffeen United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial with military rites by V.F.W. Post #1306, Taylor Springs, will be in Green Hill Cemetery in Vanburensburg.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Bockstruck was born on Aug. 5, 1914, in Mulberry Grove, a son of the late Fred and Nellie (Briggs) Bockstruck. He lived in Mulberry Grove and Hillsboro during his life.

He married Naomi Lewis in Columbus, KS, on Oct. 5, 1945, and she preceded him in death.

Mr. Bockstruck was an WWII Army veteran and farmer. He was a member of the Coffeen United Methodist Church, a life member of Mt. Moriah Lodge #51 in Hillsboro, the Montgomery County Farm Bureau, and was a trustee of the Green Hill Cemetery Association.

He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Shelton, and a grandson, Jordan Shelton, both of Albuquerque, NM.
