Born Dec. 6, 1890 in Rockbridge Baths, he was the son of the late Thomas Armenius Sensabaugh and Susan Amelia Clemmer Sensabaugh.
Mr. Sensabaugh was a farmer and retired school bus driver. He was a trustee and deacon of the Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Mr. Sensabaugh was a member of Modern Woodmen of America.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nannie Pearl Firebaugh Sensabaugh; two daughters, Mrs. Hugh L. Wade of Staunton and Mrs. Everett W. Hanger of Middlebrook; a son, Jesse Lewis Sensabaugh Jr. of Rockbridge Baths; a brother, Dewey C. Sensabaugh of Staunton; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The Rev. Bernard Bangley conducted a funeral service Monday at 11 a.m. in Bethesda Presbyterian Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
