They had seven children. Abigail was the daughter Reuben and Elizabeth (Marble) Sibley. Her father Reuben, born 25 Oct 1765, Sutton Mass. was a farmer in the town of Sutton, and later moved to Jay, Maine where he farmed and operated a ferry, he died in1813. The mother Elizabeth died 22 Dec. 1804.
