Sarah Jean Parker Dougherty of Haleyville, AL formerly of West Liberty, KY, departed this life Monday, February 18, 2008, at Haleyville Health Care, Haleyville, AL, at the age of 77 years, 6 months, and 8 days. She was born on Sunday, August 10, 1930, in Jackson, TN, daughter of the late John Charleston and Elsie Mae Conrad Parker.

She was retired from Montgomery Ward and was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Edward D. Dougherty.

She is survived by one daughter, Judi Bell and husband Douglas of Haleyville, AL; two grandchildren, Gina and Patricia; two great grandchildren, Kyle and Zander; and one brother, Henry Parker of Florida.

Service 11:00 a.m., Friday, February 22, 2008 at the Potter Funeral Home, with burial to follow in the South Fork Cemetery, Malone, KY, with Bro. George Oney officiating.
