R. Gail "Gailbug" Yates, 41, of Phil Campbell, Ala., died at Russellville, Ala., Friday, Sept. 5.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hillcrest Cemetery in North Vernon with the Rev. John Carr officiating under the direction of Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home. Visitation was held Sunday at Akins Funeral Home of Russellville.
Surviving with her mother are a daughter, a son, a stepson, a brother, and a sister.
She was preceded in death by her father, Mack Arthur Thompson; husband, Jerry Lee Yates; and grandparents, Clinton Thompson, Adele Mayfield, and Larcus and Louise Cobb.
