Burial was in Small Cemetery near Edgewood under direction of Herschel LyBrand Funeral Home, Edgewood. Mrs. Wilkins died April 22, 1999.
She was born March 1, 1933, in Shiner to the late William and Nelda Etzel Gerum. She was a graduate of Shiner High School. She moved to Edgewood from Garland in 1993. She was retired from Texas Instruments as a quality control technician. She was a member of Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church in Edgewood. She was preceded in death by sister, Willis Gerum Machemehl.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Jack Wilkins, Edgewood; sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Lissa Wilkins, Austin and stephen Wilkins, Garland; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie Wilkins, Shari and Dan Patrick and Betsy and Mike Harrison, all of Allen; brothers, Charles Gerum and Lawrence Gerum, both of Houston; sister, Jeanette Kocian, Shiner; and grandchildren, Daniel (D.J.) Patrick, Jr., Christopher Patrick, Cody Patrick, Nolan Wilkins, Collin Wilkins, Robert (Hunter) Harrison, Camden Harrison, Lauren Wilkins and Bella Ann Wilkins.
Pallbeares were Duane Burnett, David Wheeler, Bill Ford, Ernie Segovia, Don Treadway, L.L. Howell, David McBride and Lewis Risner.
Memorials may be made to Cheatham Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund.
