Officiating will be Rev. Bobby Potter. Interment will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.
Peggy was born December 9, 1931 in Houston, TX and passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center. She retired from Interactional Services as Office Manager. Peggy was a member of the Daughters of The Nile, Ladies of The Lake and El Karubah Family RV Club.
Her parents, George Haywood, Jr. and Pearl Shaw Haywood, preceded Peggy in death.
Survivors are her husband, Bobby Grantham of Shreveport, LA; son, Jerry Alan Grantham of Blanchard, LA; daughter, Terri Lee Grantham of Houston, TX; brothers, Louie Joe Haywood and wife, Andrea of Las Cruces, NM and Donald Ray Haywood of Cave Creek, AZ; and Rhonda Grantham, mother of her grandchildren, Jason Kyle and Justin Scott Grantham.
Honoring Peggy, as pallbearers will be Paul Carson, Charles Dockery, Terry Mattox, Bryant Yopp, Donald Duke, Pepper Greco, Ted Rumbaugh and C. H. Tuggle.
The family suggests memorials be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 3100 Samford Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71103.
