Julie Ann Binschus, 48, a lifelong Skagit County resident and longtime Alger area resident, died on Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

At the age of 15 Julie began a long career with Thrifty Foods, starting as a grocery bagger, then worked as a cashier for many years. She had been with the store for 31 years.
