Maggie Gehron, age 74, of New Hope, (Eaton) OH, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, September 6, 2008 at her home, following an extended illness. Born April 8, 1934 in Lanier Township, Preble County, OH, to the late Jake B. & Katherine P. Lewis Hartman. She was a longtime, devoted member of the New Hope United Methodist Church; and was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 215 of Eaton. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 8 brothers and sisters.

Survived by husband Cecil E. Gehron whom she married February 24, 1956: children Kathy Koeller; Carol Johnson & husband Sam and Danny Gehron all of New Hope: grandchildren Angie (Corey) Webb, Casey Koeller, Ed Johnson and Carly Johnson: great grandchildren Madison, Bailee and Mia Webb and Killian O'Connor; sister Eva Busby of Lewisburg.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the New Hope United Methodist Church - corner of US Rt 35 & Upshur-Northern Rd. in New Hope. Pastor Kathy O'Donnell presiding. Interment Preble Memory Gardens Cemetery.
