Pearl Blakeslee Jenkins, 99, of Graceville, passed away Friday, September 5, at her residence following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 8, at East Mt. Zion United Methodist Church with Rev. Charlie Newman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with James & Lipford Funeral Home in Graceville directing. Family will receive friends at East Mt. Zion United Methodist Church on Monday, 1 p.m. until time of service. Flowers will be accepted or those wishing may make memorials to East Mt. Zion United Methodist Church or Emerald Coast Hospice.
Mrs. Jenkins was born on April 5, 1909 in Erie County, Penn. to the late Jesse Charles and Mary Ann Haskins Blakeslee. She was a member of East Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband of 64 years Tolbert Jenkins, son-in-law Wade West, two brothers and four sisters.
She is survived by her children: Donald Everett Jenkins and Joyce West, both of Graceville; brother, Donald Blakeslee of New York; sister, Mary Osborn of Pennsylvania; two sisters-in-law: Mildred Choice Taylor of South Carolina and Bonnie Windham of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.
