Ona passed away at a Westmoreland nursing home. She was the daughter of Augustus William and Mary Jane (Shaw) Dodgion. She married Charles William Burt on September 16, 1924, in Topeka. Survivors include her children, Marilyn Davenport, Doris Ramsour, Linda Gamble, Robert Burt, and Charles Burt, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Edwards-Yorgenson-Meloan Funeral Home in Manhattan. Burial was in Wabaunsee Cemetery southwest of Wamego.
