Sammy Ray Lombard, 64, of Monett, died yesterday, September 3, at his home.
Mr. Lombard was born November 11, 1943, in Wheaton, the son of Herman and Esther Tacker Lombard. He was former owner and operator of Monett Laundry.
Survivors include two sons, Randy Lombard and his wife, Amy, of Overland Park, Kansas, and Jason Lombard and his wife, Kenia, of San Diego, California; one daughter, Alexis Lombard of Monett; and one sister, Delores Vaughn of Monett.
He was preceded in death by two daughters, Kimmie Lombard and Teba Lombard; and two brothers, James Lombard and Dean Lombard.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, September 6, at Buchanan Chapel in Monett. Burial will be in Oakdale Cemetery in Monett under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. tomorrow, September 5, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Pastor: Richard Cody, officiating.
Soloists: Carol Grimm and Julie Vaughn-- "Amazing Grace" and "Consider The Lillies".
Pianist: Connie Carver.
Casketbearers: Brian Carter, Curtis McGuire, Chadd, Jerry and Danny Vaughn, Ralph Schmidt, Greg and Harold Lombard.
