Dr. G.H. Foster Passes Away, At the Home of His Mother in Sugar Grove, deceased who was a brother of Mrs. J. H. Sharp of East Main Street, had been ill for a number of years. Following an illness of about 8 years the greater part of which time he was confined to his bed, Dr. George H. Foster, aged 35 years passed away at his home in Sugar Grove Tuesday evening at 9 o'clock.

After graduating from the starling Medical College in Columbus, Dr. Foster taught for several years at the College and later opened up an office for the practice of medicine in Columbus.

Surviving besides his mother, Mrs. Emma Foster (Brown) of Sugar Grove area and three sisters and one brother, Mrs. J. H. Sharp of East Main St., this city, Mrs. J.H. Gross of Athens, Mrs. V. N. Knecht of Charleston, W.V., and W.R. Foster of Akron. The arrangements for the funeral have not been completed but will be announced later. ( Lancaster Daily Gazette, Aug 2, 1916)
