Paula Sue Barnes, 58, of 735 N. Sixth Ave. died at 4:50 a.m. Sunday, July 24, 2005, at Graham Hospital Extended Care Unit.

She was born Feb. 4, 1947, in Canton to Paul and A. Geraldine Davis Harper.

Surviving are Charles Krieg, with whom she made her home; her mother and stepfather, A. Geraldine and Vernon Landis of Canton; one son, Bruce (and Amy) Barnes of Canton; two grandchildren; one stepbrother, Ronald (and Laurie) Landis of Maquon; two sisters, Cindy St. Clair of Canton and Carol Morris of Fort Myers, Fla.; two stepsisters, Cynthia (and James) Olsen of Tyrone, Ga., and Elizabeth (and Charles) Tucker of Fulton.

She was preceded in death by her father; one son, Paul; and one brother.

She was of the Methodist faith.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, where visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Stacy Tomich will officiate. Burial will be in Walnut Cemetery in rural Banner.
