IUKA - Tommy George, 56, died Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at his home. He was a retired truck driver with more than 30 years of experience. He enjoyed fishing, and loved spending time with his family and friends. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka with Bro. David Dill officiating. Burial will be in Eastport Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda George of Iuka; one daughter, Karen Perez of Iuka; one stepson, Mark Lambert of Memphis; one stepdaughter, Samantha Michael of Iuka; two brothers, Danny George (Janet) of Tishomingo and Scott George (Dreama) of Tupelo; a half brother, George Allred of Iuka; two sisters, Sally Boothe (John) of Burnsville and Peggy Drinkard (Mike) of Iuka; four grandchildren, Anthony George, Juan Perez Jr., Jonathan Perez and Gabriel Perez; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Majell George; a son, Michael Paul Farris; and a brother, Jackie Lynn George.

Pallbearers will be Billy Felks, Wesley Smith, Adam George, Jason Drinkard, Dean Donaldson, Dwayne Hill, Ed Smith and James George.

Honorary pallbearers will be Clyde Ledbetter, Chris Boothe and Jordan Waldrop.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
