Mrs Monika Johnson ,31,of 8100 River Drive in Houston died Thursday at 2 p.m. in a Houston hospital.
Services for Mrs. Johnson will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Glen Beville officiating. Interment will be in the Rest Lawn Memorial Park.
She was born April 30, 1948 in Germany to Josef and Betty Zell. She married Richard Dale Johnson in Dickson, N.D. on Aug. 19, 1978 and was a member of the Northside Assembly of God Church in Houston.
Survivors include her husband of Houston; her parents of Germany and s sister, Barbara Zell of Germany.
Local relatives of her husband include an aunt, Mrs.Clydus Cunningham and his grandmothers, Faye Ponder and Theo Johnson, all of Sulphur Springs.
Serving as pallbearers will be Newman Hill, Marcus Hill, Thurman Hill, Billy Borwing, Gary Graham and Neal Bryant.
Hohorary pallbearers will be Michael Harrell, James Marvin Harrell and Terry Cunningham.
