Parents: Andrew Jackson Sewell and Martha Ellen Bonnett from WVA. Married Cora Minerva Hughes Sept. 21, 1909. They had seven children: Luella Mae, Hazel Ellen, Ernest Leroy, Edith, Helen Irene, Nelle, and Wilma Mary.

Death Of Granville Sewell
Died at Springfield on Sunday, Oct. 24. Buried at Farmer's Point on Tuesday afternoon.
Granville Sewell, well known in and a former resident of this county, died in Springfield on Sunday, October 24, 1909, in an ambulance while being conveyed to the hospital for an operation. He was sick only about twenty-four hours.
The funeral was held at the residence Tuesday morning, 323 West Madison St. after which the remains were shipped to this city for interment at Farmer's Point Cemetery.
