Burial will be in the Old Palestine Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home in Picayune.
A native of Picayune, he worked in Turf Management, and he attended Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Percy and Ruby Lee Thigpen.
