Dean H. Anderson, 77 former resident of Bothwell, died Saturday, 26 August 1995 at his home in Norco, California.

Dean was born 10 August 1918 the ninth child of Eli C. and Sarah Ellen Hunsaker Anderson. He married June Holladay of Bothwell.

He served as mayor of Bothwell and assisted in the efforts of having water installed at the Bothwell Cemetery. In 1959 the family moved to Corona, California where he helped build two chapels and a ball park.

As an Eagle Scout, Dean attended the National Scout Jamboree in Valley Forge, PA. His greatest joys were fishing, hunting, or playing softball. Was one of the first in Bothwell to earn his Eagle Scout.

As an active member of the LDS Church, he has served as Sunday School Supt., Young Mens President, Bishop's Counselor, High Priest Group Leader, Stake Missionary and Stake Executive Secretary.
