Eunice M. Woodcock Carroll, 99, of Beaver Falls died in Beaver Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in South Beaver Township. She was a former Rose Avenue, New Castle resident for 94 years until relocating to Elmcroft of Chippewa Assisted Living.

Parents: John and Daisy Lane Woodcock.

Husband: Clinton R. Carroll. He preceded her in death.

She was employed by the former Davis Shoe Store and the treasurer's office of the Lawrence County Government Center as a bookkeeper. She enjoyed playing piano, doing needlework, crossword puzzles and Scrabble, and especially working around her home. She had a sweet, loving and gentle personality and was devoted to God, church and family. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.

Relatives: two daughters and sons-in-law, Nancy and Hugh MacDonald of Beaver Falls, and Lois and William Shriver of Joplin, Mo.; a son, Jon Lane Carroll of Surprise, Ariz., 10 grandchildren, William and Chris Shriver of Parker, Co., Robert and Jeanne Shriver of Camas, Wash., Lauren Stauffer of Joplin, Sonia and Michael Hyde of Palm Desert, Ca., Janelle and Troy Schaeffer of Surprise, Alison Carroll and Wendy Carroll of Palm Desert, Erin and Doug Wurst of McDonald, Heather and Keith Voelker of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Lauren and Bryan Townsend of Beaver; and 25 great-grandchildren.
