SARA MAE NICHOLSON died Saturday, October 7, 2006 at University Place Care, She was 96.
Mrs. Nicholson was born in Bostwick, Morgan County, Georgia, April 1, 1910. She came to Gainesville in 1925. She was a member of Northwest Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband Retired Fire Chief L.C. Nicholson.
She is survived by her daughter Emma Lou Weldon of Gainesville; three grandsons: Michael Weldon of Gainesville; Alan Weldon, DVM, of Jacksonville; and Douglas Weldon of Gainesville; and 5 greatgrandchildren.
Graveside service will be at Forest Meadows East on Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at 10 a.m., Deacon William Weldon officiating.
