Becky's husband, Wilbur, worked for Paymaster Gins. He later purchased the Round Mountain gins with partners in 1971, and named the company Dell Gin Co. Becky also worked at the cotton gin, running the scales through the years. They retired from ginning in 1992.

Becky was a natural beauty with a beautiful smile. Everyone who knew her loved her. She was a generous woman.

She loved nature and animals, especially birds. She had peafowl, all types of chickens, pheasants, guineas and crows. She nursed many wild birds back to health.
