Clarence I. (C.I.) Brown of Marietta died February 13, 2006 at the age of 99. He was employed for 37 years with National Linen Service of National Service Industries, as a Service Manager in Atlanta, Assistant Manager and Manager of Plants in Houston, TX, Corpus Christi, TX, and Columbus, GA. He was a long time resident of Savannah Court Assisted Living in Marietta, and Woodland Ridge Assisted Living in Smyrna. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gladys Groover Brown, and his son, Norris Seldon Brown. Mr. Brown is survived by his second wife, Thelma Brown; daughter, Shirley Ann Greene; daughter in law, Joyce Brown; two granddaughters, Angela brown and Deborah Koenig; three great grandchildren, Kevin, Lindsey, and Wesley Koenig; two sisters, Jeanette Newton and Sarah Thomason. Funeral Services were held on February 16, 2006 at the chapel of Johnson Ferry Baptist Church with Rev. Art Wilder officiating. Interment: Westview Cemetery.
