Ms. Sue Burns Coleman of Roland, Oklahoma, died Friday, August 29, 2008, at the age of 82 years. Ms. Coleman was the retired co-owner/operator of Burns Flower Shop in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was the past president of the Arkansas Florist Association and was the past vice president of the Ozark Florist Association. Se was a member of the Fort Smith Women's Bowling Association and served as president for six years. Ms. Coleman was inducted into the Fort Smith Bowling Hall of Fame. She was a member of the Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church in Roland, Oklahoma.

Ms. Burns was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands: Francis Burns, and Al Udouj.
She is survived by her third husband: Jimmy Coleman of the home; two daughters: Mary C. Harper and her husband Russell, of Otis, Oregon, and Debra K. Helms and her husband: David, of Greenwood, Arkansas; her son: James Michael Burns and his wife: Linda, of Fort Smith, Arkansas; her sister: Katy Marsh, of Roland, Oklahoma; her grandson: Chris Helms, of Greenwood, Arkansas; and her granddaughter: Bryanne Arnot of Australia; 3 precious great-grandchildren; two step-daughters: Tresa Danie and Beverly Clay, both of Roland, Oklahoma; as well as many other relatives and dear friends.

Rosary service was held on Wednesday, September 3, 2008, at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel, in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. Funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 4, 2008, at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home Chapel. Father Jeffery Poleski officiated the rites.

Pallbearers were: Rick Marsh, Jeff Marsh, Phillip Bagby, Randy Hall, David Potts, Greg Meyers, Mike Dieter, and Thurman Moore.

Honorary pallbearers were the women of the Fort Smith Bowling Association.
