Mr. Caudill is a son of the late James Albert and Mary Etta Branham Caudill.
David was a retired employee of Louisville Fire-Brick Works, where he worked as a laborer. He was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of thirty-five years, Nellie Roar Caudill; one sister, Olive Westerfield.
He is survived by five sons and three daughters-in-law, James and Sherry Caudill, Johnny and Marita Caudill, Freddie Caudill, Eddie and Star Caudill all of Olive Hill, David Joe Caudill of Grayson; one daughter and son-in-law, Edna and David Vaughn of Olive Hill; six grandchildren, Dustin Caudill, Vanessa Jones, Ashleigh Davis, Dalton Caudill, Charles Caudill and Kirsten Caudill; one brother, John Paul Caudill of Decatur, Illinois; three sisters, Betty Jo Hagman, Lou Foster and June Anderson all of Owensboro. He also leaves several nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will sadly miss him.
