Confirmation of this adoption occurring was given first hand by Marie herself to her grandchildren, stating she was a baby when it happened). She lived in Westmoreland county, Pennsylvania for most of her life. Marie Watts married John Lawrence McGuire in the 1930s (exact date unknown as of 2021) and they had 5 children; John "Jack", Patricia, Robert "Bob", Richard, and Donald "Donnie" McGuire. Marie passed away on July 3rd 1984, at the age of 70, after a brave battle with breast cancer. She is fondly remembered by her family, especially her grandchildren. "
