Gwendolyn M. Mann, 83,of York, entered into rest on Sunday, August 31, 2008, at 5 a.m. at her residence. She was the wife of the late Chalmers A. Mann who was retired from the military and passed away on March 27, 1970.
Mrs. Mann was born in Marshalltown, Iowa, on December 24, 1924, a daughter of the late John and Marie (McKay) Keopple. She was a retired nurse, having worked at York Hospital.
Surviving are two sons, John Michael Mann and wife, Elaine of York; Patrick Albert Mann and wife, Cindy of Kansas City, Mo.; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Cindy, Cathy, Christopher, Jason, Chad, and Shawn; 10 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jack Keopple of Roswell, N.M.
Burial will be in St. Jacob's Union Cemetery, York New Salem.
