Charley Faye Archer, 80, passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2005, at a local hospital. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Abilene Funeral Home Chapel of Hope with Reverend H. B. Terry officiating. Burial will follow in the Eastland City Cemetery in Eastland, directed by Abilene Funeral Home.
Mrs. Archer was born September 10, 1924, in Colorado City, Texas to Charley and Corrie Harlow. She worked many years for National Linen Service in Abilene. She loved her family and friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include two daughters, Alice Faye Tullos of San Antonio and Sandra Brewer of Abilene; two sisters, Mary Lee Jones of Sunrise Beach, Texas and Jonnie Pearl Ward of Decatur; 4 grandchildren; and 9 great grandchildren.
