Josie Elizabeth Beasley Williams Hayden was married first to Henry Williams, April 1904. They were the parents of three children; two sons, Homer James Williams, William Carl Williams, and one daughter, Effie Artella Williams {later Turner}.
Henry died in about 1909, Josie then met and married Sylvester Hayden. They were the parents of eight children, four daughters; Audie Hayden [later Castleberry], Juanita Marie Hayden [later Banks], Lucy Hayden, [died at birth] and Margarette (died at birth). Four sons; Claude Hayden, Edward Charles [E.C.] Hayden and Elbert S. B. Hayden, and Ollie Hayden [died at birth]. Josie's parents were Jim Beasley and Lula Drew Beasley. NOTE; Josie was buried in Owen Chapel Cemetery next to her son, Elbert Hayden
It is believed Josie gave birth to two more daughter that died at birth. Hence, six daughters as was listed in her obituary......Her father was James W. Beasley. Her mother is said to be Lucy Dowdy but Lucy was much too young to be her mother, also her father is listed on Ancestry.com as have beem married before marrying Lucy.
