Amber Day Funeral Held at Buckeye

Rockford Resident Dies At Age of 86, of Infirmities of Age

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Buckeye church for Amber Day, 86, lifelong resident of Wells county, who died at 10:30 p.m. Friday at his home in Rockford. Death was due to complications and infirmities of age.

The decedent was born Oct. 9, 1855 in Rockcreek township, Wells county, a son of Daniel and Elizabeth Slusher Day. He was married April 15, 1886 in Bluffton to Serilda Dalrymple, who survives.

Surviving besides the widow are two sons, Ozro S. Day, of Huntington county, and Marcus Day, of Constantine, Mich.; three daughters, Mrs. Inez Norris, of Keystone, Mrs. Nettie Elzroth and Mrs. Margaret Shaw, both of Warren, and two brother, John Day, of Altairfta, Kans., and Marion Day, of Markle.

Mr. Day was a member of the Buckeye Church of Christ.
Services were in charge of Rev. Wilbert Sullivan of Roan. Burial was in the Mossburg cemetery.
