Emma B. Johnson of Port Angeles died of age-related causes. She was 92.


She was born in Oso to Clare and Eva Parker.


On May 10, 1933, she married Gilbert Wiley. He died in 1944.


She married Gene A. Johnson in Port Townsend on April 23, 1946. He died Nov. 8, 1995.


As well as tending her home through cooking and gardening, Mrs. Johnson enjoyed playing bingo and cheering for the Seattle Mariners baseball team. She was also a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars.


Her survivors include sons and daughters-in-law John "Buck" and Lurie Johnson, Don and Denise Johnson and Dan and Diane Johnson, as well as daughter and son-in-law Clara and Dick Ford and daughter Lenore Gross, all of Port Angeles.


Also surviving are daughter and son-in-law Pat and Don Hicks of Yuma, Ariz., and daughter Grace Miller of Arlington; 23 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.


She was preceded by one brother and three sisters.


Services: Saturday, May 31, 1 p.m., reception in Lari-at Hall, 4018 S. Tiller Road, Port Angeles.
