MONTICELLO — Brenda Joy Crook Adams, age 59, of Monticello, passed away Thursday at Drew Memorial Hospital. She was born a twin, Oct. 16, 1948, in Drew County, AR.
She was the Administrative Assistant for Dermott Public Schools since 1972, and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Monticello.
She is preceded in death by her twin, Linda Crick; her parents, Donald Leroy and Mattie Virginia Lane Crook; a brother, Danny Crook.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Adams of Monticello; two sons, Tony Adams and wife Letica, and Tim Adams and wife Lisa, all of Monticello; two brothers, Donnie Crook and David Crook, both of Monticello; one sister, Mary Kirton of Monticello; three grandchildren, Rachel, Josh and Parker.
Services are 2 p.m. Saturday, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home, with burial in Oakland Cemetery of Monticello. Rev. Buddy Lemons and Rev. Doug Hibbard officiating.
Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, at the Funeral Home Chapel.
Memorials to Calvary Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
