Alejandro S. Aguirre (Alex) 82, Native Tucsonan, passed away August 27, 2008.
Preceded in death by his mother, Luz S. Aguirre; father, Carlos Aguirre; sisters, Socorro Aguirre and Eve Ferguson.
Survived by beloved brother-in-law, George Aguirre; nieces, Ana (Mark) and Emily Benford, Patty (Jim), Sarah, Antonia and Andrea Welsh; nephew, Tom Ferguson; beloved cousins, Nydia Sanchez, Oscar Calixtro, Guadalupe Rodriguez and Geraldine Altamirano.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 2, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 801 N. Grande Ave., with a Rosary recited at 9:30 a.m. Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Holy Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Vincent De Paul Society of St. Margaret's.
We will miss Nono's whistle, silly stories, and tender love. He left a huge void in our lives that will never be filled.
