James Louis Allred 10/27/1943 ~ 8/27/08 James Louis Allred, 64, of Spring City, UT died at his home on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 surrounded by his family. James was born in Mt. Pleasant, Utah on October 27, 1943, the first son of Louis Samuel and Lola Winona Justesen Allred. He married Marilyn Hazel White of Ephraim on August 26, 1980. That marriage was later solemnized on December 6, 1984 in the Salt Lake Temple. Jim was a member of the Utah National Guard in the 1457 unit in Mt. Pleasant. Jim loved children, always finding time to tease and visit with them. He loved living in Spring City under the Horseshoe Mountain. Jim operated the Allred Dairy Farm with his two brothers, David and John, until December 1995. Jim is survived by his wife Marilyn and four children Kevin Brewer of Spring City; Kimberly (Greg) Tuttle of Springville; Kurt (Aryanne) Allred of Herriman; and Kristin (Colby) Jorgenson of Ephraim; nine grandchildren and five granddogs, and siblings Robert, David, John, Cynthia and Randy of Spring City. He was preceded in death by parents and sister Vicky Sue. Funeral services will be held on Tues., September 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spring City 2nd Ward Chapel. A viewing will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Rasmussen Mortuary in Mt. Pleasant, UT and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Spring City chapel prior to the services. Burial will be in the Ephraim Park Cemetery.
