William's Alabama death record states he died in Hopewell, but his obituary sounds like it was outside of a town. William and his wife Eliza had at least 9 children; in addition to those already linked they were: Oley (or Olen?) R., born 1898; William J., born 1909, Martha, born 1912; Avalene born 1913. They are listed on censuses,but I did not yet find any additional information about them.

Hopewell community.
