Carl E. Barnes, 92, of Elm Street, Parkersburg, died Jan. 5, 2000, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Parkersburg. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Chesapeake, Ohio. He had been employed by the Borden Dairy Company and the Parkersburg Creamery.
Survivors include two brothers, Howard Barnes of Columbus, Ohio, and Vernon Barnes of Parkersburg; one sister, Marjorie King of Akron; and one niece, Jeannie Rowell of North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis E. and Lula May Taylor Barnes; his wife, Reva Cross Barnes; and two brothers, Ralph E. Barnes and Kenneth O. Barnes.
Services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg, the Rev. Eugene Ramsey officiating. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Williamstown.
