She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Layfette and Dora Malinda (Moore) Burris; her husband, Charlie Chronister; two sons-in-law; one granddaughter; and one great-grandson.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Odell and Betty Chronister of Hector; three daughters and a son-in-law, Elsie Henderson of Jerusalem, Bonnie Sommers of Atkins, and Kathryn and George Duvall of Atkins; a brother, Adam Burris of Atkins; a sister, Mary Darter of Kokomo, Ind.; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 11 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 3 p.m. today at Lemley Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Downum officiating.
