Funeral services for Troy Christopher "Chris" Coleman, 34, of Shreveport, LA will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2007 in Centuries Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Officiating will be Dr. Howard Hall pastor of Shreveport Baptist Temple. Burial will follow in Centuries Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5:00 unitl 9:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2007 at Centuries.

Chris was born on December 18, 1972 and passed away on January 31, 2007 in Shreveport as a result of an accident in 2000. He graduated from Southwood High School in 1992 and from Southeastern Oklahoma University in 1997. At the time of his accident Chris worked as an account executive for Universal Solutions and prior to that was the manager of Norwest Financial. He was a member of Summer Grove Baptist Church. Chris was a talented athlete and very active in sports achieving many accomplishments. He was an avid outdoorsman and LSU fan.

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, C.H. Thurmond, Jr. and paternal grandparents: Dillard D. and Mary VanHook Coleman.

Survivors include his parents: Thomas and Janis Rich Coleman; maternal grandmother: Nelda Sims Thurmond; brother: Todd Coleman; sisters: Jill Greening and husband Mike, Julie Presley and Jennifer Mann and husband David.; nieces and nephews: McKenzie, Claudia & Madelyn Mann, Rileigh & Jackson Greening, Lainey Presley and Bailey Coleman. Also surviving are a host of loving aunts, uncles cousins and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Laine Coleman, Shane Coleman, Jason Legg, Mike Greening, Chad Brossett and Nick Parker.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Pierremont Health Care and especially Johny Brown.
