She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick "Pat" Carr Jr.; and son, Frederick Carr III.
She is survived by family and friends.
She was a longtime member of Battery Park Christian Church and a member of the Hanover Home Demonstration.
The family will receive friends on Monday, September 1, 2008, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Atlee Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, Rte. 301 and Shady Grove Rd., Mechanicsville, Va. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 2, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Battery Park Christian Church, 4201 Brook Road, Richmond, Va. 23227.
Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Battery Park Christian Church Building Reconstruction Fund.
