She worked as an office clerk for J.C. Penney for 10 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Linda Pate of Marysville; a son, David L. Pate Jr. of Ladoga, Ind.; a sister, Dorothy Faulkner of Hemet; two brothers, Leroy Hunter of Camp Verde, Ariz., and George C. Hunter of Yarnell, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Pate Sr.; a daughter, Terri Pate; a sister, Frances Grieder; and a grandson.
Services: A memorial service is at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Church of the Nazarene, 506 E. 16th St., Marysville, with Pastor Raymond Wisner officiating. Inurnment is at Sierra View Memorial Park in Olivehurst. Arrangements are under the direction of Ullrey Memorial Chapel in Yuba City.
