James Deyoe (1876-1930) was born to Peter and Anna Deyoe.

James Seabury Deyoe was born December 26, 1875 (1875) in the Town of Nepeuskun, Winnebago County, Wisconsin.

His Death is recorded as November 18, 1930. (1930)

Parents of James are:.
Peter Rogers Deyoe 1832-1899
Anna Seabury (Deyoe) 1833-1904

Peter Rogers Deyoe(1832) is the father of James(1876), who is the son of James Deyoe of 1803 & Esther Ann Mallory/Deyoe born in 1810.

His father Peter(1832) is the grandson of Peter Deyoe(OLD PETER 1780-1876), born in Columbia County, New York.

Peter of 1832 (father of Esther, Myrtie, & James) came with his father(James-1803) and mother Esther(Ann Mallory) to the Waukau area as a child in 1846. Also, his mothers brother, Joseph Utter Mallory and family accompanied them.

Around 1850, after the death of his wife, came PETER(96years) their Great grandfather Peter Deyoe(1780-1876) to live near them.

Their father Peter1832, and Peter's father James Deyoe 1803, along with father of James, PETER Deyoe(being the Grave marked grandfather Peter Deyoe- 96 years!...) are listed and buried in Waukau Cemetery.

So, "OLD PETER," as many refer to Peter of 96 years is then THEIR --- Esther(Craig), Myrtie(Frye), and James Seabury Deyoe's Grandfather.

Thus, OLD PETER of 96 years is THEIR Great Grandfather Peter Deyoe. ((grave 96 years grandfather)

James, THEIR grandfather and father Peter were instrumental in settling and becoming early residents of the Waukau area. James Deyoe 1803, THEIR grandfather is credited with building the very first house in Waukau that used a frame, and was finalized on land in 1850. Homes prior to this were built like log cabins, not with a frame structure like they so often are today.

Wisconsin became the 30th state in 1848.
