Elsa G. Lusche, 87, of Columbus, died Friday at Morys Haven in Columbus.
Services are at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church - Shell Creek, preceded by a family prayer service at 10:15 a.m. Rev. L.E. Mortensen will officiate. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation is after 1 p.m. Sunday at Gass-Haney Funeral Home and from 9:30 a.m. Monday until service time at the church.
Mrs. Lusche was born June 27, 1897, at Platte County, the daughter of J.D. and Catherine Louise Dicke Siefken. She married Gustav William Lusche April 6, 1921, at St. John's Lutheran Church - Shell Creek.
Following their marriage the couple lived in the Shell Creek area. Mrs. Lusche was an honorary member of St. John's Lutheran Church Ladies Aid and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church - Shell Creek.
Surviving are a son, Lawrence of Columbus; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Minnie (Mrs. Gus) Labens and Adela (Mrs. August) Runge Sr. both of Columbus, and Martha (Mrs. L.V.) Warlaumont of Ogden, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980, a son, a grandson, two brothers and three sisters.
