Miss Laura Avery, aged 17 years, a daughter of Mrs. Mary Avery, of Thompson, died at the residence of Geo. B. Allen, Esq., at Hawley, Pa., on Friday last. She was an amiable and intelligent young lady, and was highly esteemed by her friends and acquaintances. Her remains were brought from Hawley on Saturday by Mr. Allen, and were interred in the Bridgeville cemetery on Sunday.
