Burlington.–Miss Hattie Rachel McAdams, 46, of the Cedar Grove Township, Mebane, Route 3, died Wednesday night at 11 o’clock after an illness of three weeks. A native of Orange County, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. S. McAdams.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock from the Cedar Grove Methodist Episcopal Church, by the Rev. S. F. Nicks, pastor. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by five sisters, Mrs. F. T. Fitch and Mrs. W. M. Boland [sic], Mebane, Route 3; Mrs. R. M. Noble and Mrs. W. G. Staunton, Burlington, and Mrs. James Allen of the home; four brothers, C. B McAdams, Rougemont, J. H. McAdams, Efland, S. B. McAdams, Burlington, and Carl McAdams of the home.
