"Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Myrtle Evelyn Riley passed away peacefully Thursday, Aug 9, 2007. She was born May 19, 1923 in Salt Lake City (Tenth Child) to Ernest (Royal) and Eva Helena (Bullock), Olorenshaw.
She married Hurley Keith Riley on April 17, 1948,(Salt Lake City, SL Co., UT by William W. Horne, LDS Bishop; with witnesses, Agnes J. Riley & Jas W. Smith) and the marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 25, 1948.
Myrtle was full of unconditional love for her family and those she encountered. She will be deeply missed by all.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 59 years; two siblings, LaVon Adair and David Olorenshaw; five children, Claudia (Mike) Weaver, Brent (Orlene) Riley, Pam (Mark) Maehr, Judy Parker, and Joyce (Archie) Sauvageau; 11 grandchilren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and eight of her siblings whom she loved dearly.
The family would like to thank Bennion Care Center and Bristol Hospice who kindly cared for Myrtle in her final days.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S. where a viewing will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday."
