She was educated in Marion and Hillsborough County Public Schools. She was a graduate of Florida A&M University as an educator. She was preceded in death by her parents Cullen Smith, Willie Mae Austin Lockett and Manning Lockett. She is survived by her children: Joe N. Williams Jr. and Sherri Williams. Sister: Jacquelyn Lockett. She was the proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Pansy Smith Williams age 81 educator will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church 11732 Illinois Street, Dunnellon, Florida 34431 with Reverend Warren Hardaway, Pastor conducting the services interment will be in Dunnellon Community Cemetery, Dunnellon, Florida. There will be a wake service on Thursday at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
