Aileen Mattox, 82, former New Smyrna Beach resident, died Tuesday, Aug. 26 in Rock Hill, SC.
Mrs. Mattox was born in DeLand and had been a lifelong Volusia County resident before moving to Rock Hill five years ago. She was the owner/operator of Mattox Antiques in New Smyrna Beach for 47 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Kathy (Bob) Morton of Rock Hill; one brother, Joseph Adney, Jr., of Palm Coast; and three grandchildren, Kyle and Kristy Morton, both of Rock Hill and Kerry Morton of Lincolnton, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Mattox, Jr., in 1997.
Graveside funeral service will be 10 AM Saturday, Aug. 30 in Edgewater-New Smyrna Cemetery with the Rev. Esther L. Robinson, Coronado Community United Methodist Church, New Smyrna Beach, officiating.
