Carolyn "Sue" Hannah, 61, lifelong Muskogee area resident passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at her home in Muskogee. She was born January 11, 1947 to Robert Lafayette and Gracie Juanita (Parris) Doak in Muskogee where she attended school. Sue enjoyed her life with no thoughts of leaving home. She later married and her family became her life. She enjoyed homemaking, parenting, and grand parenting. Another love was working in Flea Markets. She had a booth which filled much of her time keeping it updated and ready for sales.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gregory Brian Hutcheson; one grandson, Cody James Hutcheson and one brother, Robert Lee Doak.
Survivors include her husband, James David Hannah, four children; Charrie Samaras of Muskogee, Teresa and Tim Silsby of Texas, Danny and Donna Hutcheson of Muskogee, and Eugenia and Aubrey Trowell of Oklahoma City; grandchildren, Danielle Gile, Krystan Hutcheson, Danny Hutcheson, Nicholas S. Hutcheson, Jeremiah Silsby, Joshua Silsby, Tora Bailey Trowell, Alexus Trowell, Alyassa Hutcheson, Blake Hutcheson, and Madison Trowell; two great-grandchildren, Madison Walker and Tyler Walker; one step-grandchild, Anthony Trowell; two brothers, Gary Doak and Larry Doak and one sister, Cathy Jiles.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 25, 2008, at Fosters' Ivory Chapel with Rev. Gene Bebee officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Funeral service arrangements are under the direction of Foster-Petering Funeral Home.
